[GEEK] Knowing yourself

Earlier I never have intensity to know more about myself though, karena berasa sudah cukup mengenal dan ga ada sesuatu yang mengganggu. Sampai suatu hari di tengah kebosanan dan kehausan mencari buku untuk di baca, saya menemukan buku ini The Secret Lives of Introvert. Saat baca cover nya, halaman belakangnya, halaman pertamanya. Lightning struck my head and heart (un-literally of course) and made me cry (ga sampai disamperin satpam juga sih). 

Seperti sebelum2nya kalo lihat2 buku dan akhirnya beli, is like finding love of your life (koq banyak ?!? :)) chemistry will tell you so. Dan buku ini more than chemistry I guess, sampai undang2 petir segala soalnya :)) Of course I buy and finished the book in 2 days! After this years (udah lama ga nganggur) kayaknya ini prestasi jadi buku paling cepat saya selesaikan.

Bisa cepat, karena betul2 menarik dan invites my curiosity more than anything I can remember. I never thought that knowing yourself is so important, but mostly it brings you happy times, happy feelings. I know that I'm introvert quiet a long time. Dan in bookstore shelf memang banyak buku tentang introvert beberapa yang terkenal adalah Quiet nya Susan Cain. Tapi setiap mengangkat buku itu dan membaca, blm ada chemistry apalagi thunder striking. Tapi The Secret Lives of Introvert ini cukup beda, pendekatan yang cukup ringan dan sehari-hari.

Pengarang buku ini adalah Jenn Granneman an introvert as well of course! Baru diketahui juga bahwa ada ternyata komunitas, bacaan, blog! tentang Introvert (you name it di jagad raya internet, sepertinya semua perkumpulan ada... perkumpulan paling aneh yang pernah kalian pikirin juga mungkin ada.. coba aja googling!) Blog yang sudah lama dikelola oleh Jenn sendiri (sebelum dia menerbitkan buku ini) berjudul Introvert, Dear.

I mean like this is crazy! Everything I read about in the book atau di blognya, that's me! A lil bit relieve to find your kind, your vibe, your universe.

INFJ adalah soal lain. Saya mengetahui bahwa hasil tes saya adalah INFJ (follow your own free test here) juga sudah cukup lama. Tes dengan berbagai sumber tes, hasil nya selalu sama: INFJ. I know that INFJ is special, 2 persen di dunia, dengan similarity personalities with Mother Teresa, Plato, Mahatma Gandi, Osama Bin Laden and Hitler himself. I read everything about INFJ as long as I found. But that's all. Nothing interest me further.

But recently in my longest solitude I've ever done, I find it another thing about knowing more about yourself. It brings you joy, brings you smile... terutama (that's sparks me to write this post) saat menuliskan "INFJ"-yourself di Spotify and finding this playlist. Yup another thunder striking, but this one is a long one.. series of thunder strikings, in a desert, with purple sky and a homy smell of vanilla got through my nose. And that's what the universe itself looks like for an introvert, an INFJ-of-a kind (I always failed in finding the right music, cos sometimes it always too loud and disturbing, that's not weird when I found that I'm addicted to A Thousand Years or Paramore songs.
